Considering a Google ad campaign but worry you don’t have the budget as the “big guys”? Will I reach my audience or be outbid? Am I wasting my money?


These are fundamental questions, and unfortunately or fortunately, there’s not a one sized fits all answer. Instead, it depends on your industry, target audience and location. For example, this changes everything if you are a small business looking to attract people within a 15-mile radius.


The big guys focus on getting their message to the masses, looking solely at volume, and getting the most impressions and clicks from anywhere. So how does that help you? They typically set their ad campaigns to a dollar max per day. If we design a campaign that serves only our target zone but says I’d be willing to pay X per lead, that changes everything. You’d be paying a higher rate, but it would be your target while the big guy is just trying to cover the most ground as cheaply as possible. We’d outbid them, and your target audience would see your message within your geographic area. Viola!
